Bosco Verticale: The new Milan

If you are coming to Milan to take pictures of the Duomo, you might be surprised to know that this building is also one of the most photographed buildings in Milan, and the simple reason is that the Bosco Verticale is gorgeous. Also called the Vertical Forest, it was completed in 2014 and is located in the Porta Nuova district of Milan, Italy.

This pair of buildings is a symbol of the "new" modern Milan, along with the CityLife buildings, even though physically distant from each other.

Between Love and Hate, tourists and Milanese often disagree about the building. Some people think it is an awkward architecture compared to the classical Milanese architecture, but to others, it is a beautiful symbol of the Italian modern design. In my humble opinion,  the Bosco Verticale is a gorgeous and green design, that brings life to an old city.
